Assistant Professor, Illustrator, and Designer Mark Cela had an idea for a design podcast aimed at aiding young design professionals with subjects often overlooked in higher education. The excuse that he gets to sit and talk to his friends once a week had nothing to do with his motivation to start a podcast.

The former Creative Director and President of AIGA Cincinnati fell in love with higher education and spent a successful 5 years as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Miami University Communication Design Program in Oxford.

Dan is an accomplished Graphic Design veteran and owner of Cloud Graphics. He is exceptionally talented at environmental graphics, 3D modeling, and all areas of Design from print to screen. He is also one of the kindest people on the planet, often donating his time to design mentorship programs in middle-high school design education.

UX Designer and all-around great person Lauren DeMarks was a guest on the podcast before filling-in as guest host for Kristen. Now Lauren is a permanent addition to The Team beginning in Season 3! She is a socially conscious designer and wicked smart. Lauren is also deadly with a frisbee.
