CLIENT
Twentieth Century Fox
DESCRIPTION
I designed an estimated 40+ illustrations, most of which were approved by Twentieth Century Fox and used past my time on the license at Littlefield Adams (LFA Funwear). The license was for mass-market distribution of clothing and products through large chain stores such as Target and Walmart.

*Note - the ‘Mr.Burns’ primary art was designed by Larry Warren prior to my time on the license.

BookLinks E-Reader Application
DESIGN CHALLENGE
Bibliophiles overwhelmingly choose physical media over digital. The question is, why, and is there a way to bridge the gap between those who prefer physical media and those who choose digital?
SOLUTION
Several months of research, interviews, and test groups later, I found attachment to physical books largely stems from memory making and association. The goal of this app is to bring a social element to reading in a way that establishes emotional bonds and associations with other readers directly through the application.

Community Outreach Semiotics Proposal
DESIGN CHALLENGE
The focus of this project was to develop a system of semiotic experiences with the intent to destigmatize the act of visiting food banks in underprivileged areas of larger cities.
The project was divided into five primary areas:
Sight
Object
Sound
Word
Gesture
Concept Behind the Project
The concept was to think of design solutions intended to destigmatize asking for help when facing food insecurity.
My idea was to create a welcoming environment that fostered the feelings of home, family, and friendship. It was important that people would feel welcome in the facility, and that individuals be referred to by familial terms such as brother, sister, friend, and the staff as family. Frequent patrons would be referenced by name and have personalized items identifying them when they frequented the facility.
Designs would be bright and imagery would feature friendship, family, loving gestures, and warm, welcoming, food imagery.

CAFFÉ Buono Branding Guide
DESIGN
The cliché design project: coffee house branding guide.
REASONING
This was a project I designed in my undergrad (when coffee house designs weren’t such a trope of design undergrads).
The reason I included this project in my portfolio is that I like to show my undergraduate students work from my time in classes similar to theirs. Many of my students visit my website to look at my work, and I think it’s important for them to see what my work looked like at their level.
The branding guide was incredibly detailed, featuring all products, architecture, vehicle designs, standards, and business plan.

Augmented Reality/Assisted Museum Kiosks
DESIGN CHALLENGE
Created compelling, interactive, museum Kiosks (in this case for Wright Patterson Air Force Museum) that make use of assistive drone technologies and augmented reality.
SOLUTION
These two concepts were part of a plan to implement drone/GPS tour guides that activated augmented reality and interactive features intended to entertain and educated patrons of museums. This would alleviate strain put on elderly tour guide professionals to manage large crowds while creating compelling ways to learn about museum attractions.
